The introduction of electric shavers for women has come a long way back. Many women today shave pubic hair quickly with an electric razor and the most importantly it is so safety as nicks and cuts are impossible.

Make sure the shavers shave pubic hair that is soft best. Take a hot shower of bath before shaving pubic areas to soften hair. You can use a depilatory product for pubic hair shaving. This process chemically dissolves the hair but as with shaving the hair will return. But the downside to using a depilatory product is that many of these creams can cause irritations and skin tests are always recommended prior to use.

There are lots of bacteria living in the bikini area, and hot water will help prevent them getting into the hair follicles after you’ve shaved. Some electric shavers are good for wet shaving. Electrolysis as a form of body hair removal which can also be used in some cases proves to be a permanent hair removal solution at bikini area. However electrolysis can also be very painful and only small areas can be treated at a time. Some women say that shaving pubic areas wet with an electric shaver gives them a closer shave.

Moreover you have to dry the bikini line hair and skin thoroughly before beginning to shave pubic hair if your shaver can not be used wet. However without shaving cream, almost all electric shavers work best but you should not use it unless the instructions tell you to do. The shaving part couldn’t be easier. A gentle back and forth motions is usually recommended but try not to go over the same skin too much, as this will increase skin irritations. Some women are able to find red bumps and other skin irritations which are common in shaving pubic areas. In fact these should diminish as your skin gets used to being shaved and it’s worth persevering.

Another disadvantage of shaving pubic areas is itching between shaves. The itching will begin within 24 hours or until the sharp hairs start to appear as you are cutting the hairs at skin level. However you should avoid shaving daily and never shave bumpy or red and inflamed skin. You could get end up with an infection.
